Garrett just celebrated his 32nd birthday. Wow we’ve spend many birthdays together, it’s hard to keep track! It was a laid back day with some special visitors!
Those that know me, know I always have my camera in my hand. And on those few days I forget my camera I’m snapping pics with my iphone. I can’t help it, I just love to look back at the photos, watching how my kids and family have grown over the years. It gives me warm fuzzies to look at certain photos and instantly I’m taken back to the emotions from that day. I think because my family never took any pictures I’m trying to make sure my kids have those memories to look back on since I never really did. My Papa was really the only one that took all the pictures on the holidays. Thankfully for him I can at least see what I looked like as a kid on the major holidays!
Seriously, I just love Grant so much. Not just because he’s the first nephew we’ve had and that he made me an official “Aunt” for the first time but just because he’s so darn sweet! I can’t believe how much he’s grown up already, seems like yesterday we were holding him in the hospital. :( I wish we lived closer so the girls could send even more time with him. They really get excited each and every time we see him. It’s funny to see how well they play, or at least occupy him. In the end family is all you got….so keep them close!
