My Little Jumping Bean

Rylan started showing off her skills at my parents’ house today.  She just started flipping and couldn’t stop!  I’ve only ever seen her do 3 flip flops in a row.  She’s getting better and better since she’s taking tumbling two days a week.

This video was from a while back when Rylan took gymnastics at Elite.  It takes a lot of strength to do a press up and she was halfway there doing it this way.

Gone Fishin’

A beautiful Sunday afternoon spent fishing with family.  The weather was so nice and we got to spend time with Gammie, Chase and Grant too!  We need more days like this…

Grant had more fun with the worms than the fish!  He’d grab that wiggly little worm and let it just crawl in his hand.

Chase’s big bass.

Hailey managed to catch the big bass of the day!  She was more than excited for this catch.  Patience pays off!

Family Day

At our trip to Cabela’s the girls got to see a scuba diver in the aquarium which was pretty cool.  He was moving seaweed around and even took a huge fish out.  At one point he waved at the girls, Rylan especially thought that was awesome!

I think Hailey was the most excited since she got to meet R.J. from the Swamp People, T.V. show.  It’s not Troy Landry but she’ll take it!  Funny how she’ll get in a picture like this but hides from me all the time!!

Children’s Discovery Center

Rylan’s 2nd grade class just took their Spring field trip to the Children’s Discovery Center.  It was such a great experience for the kids.  This museum had different stations for the kids to experience real life things.  A restaurant that they could “make” food and ring up orders on the cash register.  The bubble maker was probably the most popular.  You stood in the center and pulled the cord and a gigantic bubble formed around you, so you were inside the bubble.   She was able to measure her height, weight, how high she could jump and how long she could balance.  Climb a rock wall, build like a construction worker, play dress up, make music, be a veterinarian, and work in an ambulance.  They also got to paint a huge banner at Painting with a Twist.

Now Bourbon has to get in on the action.  Sorry fella but not sure you’ll like strained peas.

And first day of baby food was successful!  Brayden did such a great job.  Bourbon looked like he wanted to mop off the extras from his face too!

Look at the smoochable cheek!  I could gobble him up!
