It's officially Rylan's 5th Birthday today! She got up at about 6:30am this morning and crawled into our bed with a big smile on her face. Garrett was up getting ready for work so she took his spot in the bed. She looked at me and said..."Mommy I'm 5 years old today, it's MY BIRTHDAY!!!" She was so cute. Rylan gets so excited so easy. We are doing her "party" with family on Sunday so we just got cupcakes. We called her in after the candles were lit and as soon as she saw them she ran off crying. For someone who will get up in front of everyone and sing and dance, she is still very shy when she wants to be. She got embarrassed when we tried to sing and started crying again...so we blew the candles out for her and then she was fine when she got to eat her cupcake! Another birthday behind us...it's hard to believe it's been 5 years already. Time sure does fly the older we get.
