My Birthday Dinner @ The Melting Pot

Garrett made reservations and took me to The Melting Pot restaurant. We had never been there before, so I was really excited to try it out. We sat in "Lovers Lane", which was very private booths. They are made where you sit next to each other in a "L" shaped booth. The fondue burner was in the upper corner of the table. The walls around us went all the way to the ceiling so you could not see anyone sitting around us. We started off with a spinach and artichoke cheese dip which was amazing! Salads came next, then our entree. We ordered a platter with filet, sirloin, chicken, shrimp, tenderloin, and some pasta thing stuffed with mushrooms. Garrett and I actually cooked our own food in the fondue pot. Each meat only took up to 2 minutes to cook. Everything was marinated and turned out really, really good. Now for the yummy part....dessert!!! Chocolate, milk chocolate. We had cheesecake, brownie, rice crispies, marshmallows, strawberries, and pound cake to dip. I was to die for!!!!!! I would go back just for dessert! Our reservation was for 7, which we were about 15 min early for and didn't leave until 9!!! I couldn't believe we stayed that long. It was really a fun experience and I'm glad he took me there. I'll definitely be back one day!
