This week Hailey has been the first "Super Star" student. She gets to be the line leader each day, pass out papers, run errands for the teacher, bring a snack, and have us come eat lunch. So Garrett and I went and ate lunch today with her. We had a not so great hot ham and cheese on a bun and fries. I got to visit with her teacher and she informed me how great Hailey is doing this year! Mrs. Finch is super nice and I am SO thankful she has Hailey in her class. Hailey took us back to her classroom and showed us her poster she'd been working on for the past week. It was a colorful portrait of herself. It was awesome! I'm so proud of her! I sent cupcakes for her class today to celebrate her birthday.
Tonight we invited her friend Olivia and her family to go to celebration station, which isn't going to happen now due to the rain. So we will go to Mr. Gattis instead and eat pizza and play in the arcade which they like just as much. I picked her cake up today and it's so cute! We will have a small get together with family at my mom and dad's tomorrow.
I had to make Hailey a glass. Her last two friends have gotten one from me and she requested one! It matches her cake...hard to see, I'll post separate pics later.
