On Thursday afternoon I picked up the girls from school and was heading home. Our house is not even a full mile from their school. Someone neglected to stop at a stop sign and hit us. Luckily we were all ok! My car was towed due to the fact it was not drivable. The guy that hit me did not have insurance! Their car got impounded along with him getting a ticket. That doesn't exactly help me out though. My insurance will fix my vehicle, if it's not totaled, but I have to pay my $500 deductible. We tried to get a rental but they were low on cars and we would of still had to come out of pocket. Funny how paying insurance doesn't seem like it gets you anywhere. Hopefully we'll find out early next week what's going on with the repair. Here's a picture of the damage....if you look the tire is turned, the passenger tire is turned also even though I wasn't hit on that side. Most the bad damage is under the car.
