New Furniture

Garrett and I finally decided {well, I made up my mind, Garrett really didn’t care} on new furniture for the living room.  Ranger ate the corner off our coffee table and Dutchess chewed a hole in our leather couch when she was just a few months old.  So…we’ve been living with half eaten furniture for WAY too long!  The decision process was miserable, I just really didn’t see anything I absolutely loved for a while.  Yes, this hunt went on for a few months.  The girls high-fived when we finally purchased our pieces just because they were so excited not to have to furniture shop again!  We got an awesome deal on a leather recliner and our couch ended up being on sale.  The coffee table on the other hand got discontinued in the time it took us {{me}} to make our minds up :(  We walked in Olinde’s to buy it and the floor sample had sold tags on it.  So…out to relook at the second choice which was hard to go from one I loved to one I just really didn’t.  We bought it and it’s coming in Friday.  So YAY for not having an eaten coffee table anymore!  That’s what I get for being so indecisive, I need to act more quickly on stuff I really like, lesson learned!

Disregard the mirror over the couch, it is coming down.  It definitely clashes!

Can’t decide what side to keep the pillows on…pattern or not?? hmmm

About this couch….where do I start….

We tried to bring it in the garage door, didn’t fit.  Scratched it up a bit in that process.  Then tried the front door, it fit!!  But, it didn’t fit through the turn of the hallway into the living room.  The guys had it stood up and tried every way to swivel and turn it but it just wasn’t fitting.  {thanks to that deco top above the pillows!}

So back out the front door and on to try the garage again.  But this time Garrett removed the doorframe and it finally fit!  A few scratches but some furniture polish touch up should fix that.  Now my wall in the hall on the other hand, that will be fun to fix.  No hole, just scratched paint down to sheetrock off.  Nothing can ever be easy with us!
