Every year around this time we spruce up the flower beds {{which is code for REDO!!}} Shockingly we didn’t really have to “redo” as much as usual. We added some plants under the window and some smaller, filler plants around and really that was it. I have to give Garrett props considering our yard looks the best in the neighborhood. Hopefully everything (or most everything) will stay alive and get BIGGER!! Our poor soil is horrible, full of sand and junk from construction, so nothing really grows well. Garrett put a drainage system in to help with the overflow of water on our walkway….well, he digs up a foot and a half piece of solid 2x4 from the yard!!!! No wonder we can’t keep anything alive!

We let the girls pick out some flowers to plant under their swing set. Most of these aren’t doing too well, :( but they had fun planting them!
