Goodbye Kasse….

We had to say goodbye to my Mom and Dad’s dog, Kasse.  She was very sick a over a year and it was just her time to go.  I can remember going to get her when I was in 5th grade! {tear}  Her Birthday was October 1st.  Poor baby was called “Puppy” for the longest time before we FINALLY gave her a name.  A name Papa (my Mom’s Dad) came up with I think.  It’s German (since she’s German and all, lol)

So as you can see we named our dog “Cash Register”!   Makes me so sad that she’s gone, but it was worse seeing her so miserable.  We’ll never forget her!

 

 

Day at the Zoo for Grant’s Birthday

We met Grant, Molly and Chase at the Baton Rouge Zoo for Grant’s 2nd Birthday.  It was probably the hottest day of the whole year.  Everyone was miserable to say the least.  But it was still fun, the girls love any time they get to hang out with their cousin.

 

 

Grant’s 2nd Birthday Party

Grant’s party was at Garrett’s Mom’s house, aka Gammie.  He opened presents and ate cake and ice cream.  I can’t believe he’s 2 already.  When I was younger and adults would say children grow up so fast, I was like “umm, no we don’t!”  It would feel like an eternity just to get through a single year.  Now they are flying by.  Cherish every second you have because it goes by so quickly.
