Most the crazies were out and about shopping as early as 6pm on Thanksgiving night, waiting in long lines for hours and hours just to snag a great deal. Me on the other hand….was in my BED at 3am, not at Walmart trying to buy a ridiculously cheap TV. With the cold finally showing it’s face this weekend (and the rain, BUURRRR) I was very glad to be snuggled in my warm bed. Garrett on the other hand took off Thanksgiving evening to head out in search of that big buck. So on “Black Friday” the girls and I do what we do every year….we set up the Christmas tree. It’s our little tradition, we stuff ourselves silly at 2 Thanksgivings and then jump into the Christmas season the next day. Normally the lights get put up outside too but due to the chilly wet weather I decided to skip that. They’ll get up this week sometime (hopefully!). Here’s a look at my girls decorated tree. They are so proud of it. You wouldn’t think positioning an ornament was so important but it is!! We’ve got our Christmas countdown out and it’s already counting down the days till Santa comes!! The suspense it all the fun!
I pretty proud of my new bow I made with the mesh ribbon I bought at market this year. One lesson from the bow makers and VOILA!! Much better then what I had before, I love it!
